PENDIDIKAN ISLAM INKLUSIF DALAM PERSPEKTIF FAZLUR RAHMAN : STUDI ANALISIS KONSEPTUAL

Abstract

This study aims to understand the concept of inclusive Islamic education from Fazlur Rahman's perspective. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, with data collected cthrough literature reviews and library research,including various books and other sources related to the problem and objectives of this study. The references used in this study include several journals and books relevant to inclusive Islamic education. A qualitative approach was applied because the data obtained are in the form of descriptions. Based on the study’s results, the first section describes the biography of Fazlur Rahman, Second, the concept of inclusive Islamic education according to Fazlur Rahman's thoughts is: 1. The existence of a contextual and integrative curriculum through a double hermeneutic approach (double movement), 2. Eliminating the dichotomy of Religious Studies and General Sciences, 3. The need for education that pays attention to the potential of individual students, 4. The need for educators to serve as facilitators and inclusive agents, 5. The existence of multi-stakeholder collaboration and supporting facilities and improving teacher competence.
