IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN AQIDAH AKHLAK

This research is motivated by the fact that many teachers have not implemented the Merdeka Curriculum optimally, do not have a comprehensive insight into the Merdeka Curriculum and there are still deficiencies that can be seen in terms of aspects of assessment standards, educator standards and content standards. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach that describes the implementation of the independent curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Negeri 2 Merangin. In addition to seeing the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, this study also aims to find out how teachers adapt to the new curriculum policy. The independent curriculum is a curriculum that gives freedom to schools to explore their abilities according to their facilities, resources, and inputs, and gives freedom to teachers to explain the main and important material. This curriculum is a new curriculum as a refinement of the 2013 curriculum The instruments used in this study are using observation interviews and documentation. Observation is carried out by observing the aqidah akhlak subject teacher who carries out the learning process in the classroom. Interviews were conducted with the Head of Curriculum, Head of Madrasah, one teacher in the field ofl aqidah akhlak study, and to students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Negeri 2 Merangin. Meanwhile, documentation is obtained by collecting writings or documents in the form of madrasah documents and photographs during research activities. The results showed that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Merangin still has several obstacles in its implementation, due to the new curriculum policy. These obstacles are in the form of insights that have not been maximized about the Merdeka Curriculum, constraints in managing time, constraints in developing learning tools and limited references
