Abstract

Morality plays a fundamental role in supporting behavioral change and development. Therefore, moral education should be a top priority within educational institutions. This study aims to explore the efforts made to cultivate noble character (akhlakul karimah) among students at SMK Kansai Pekanbaru. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that teachers' efforts in fostering students’ moral character include organizing religious activities at school, providing education on the importance and benefits of good morality as well as the consequences of immoral behavior, serving as role models through exemplary conduct, offering advice to students who exhibit deviant behavior, and consistently demonstrating and encouraging good behavior both inside and outside the school environment.
