Abstract

Transformative Islamic education is an approach that aims to bring about significant change in individuals and society through a deep understanding and application of Islamic values. This approach emphasizes the importance of holistic development involving academic aspects, character, personality and social skills that are relevant to the challenges of the times. Innovation in transformative Islamic education is very important to ensure education does not only focus on religious aspects, but is also able to integrate science and technology, as well as the development of practical skills such as leadership, communication and management. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The research results show that the implementation of transformative Islamic education, which is supported by innovations such as the integration of religious knowledge with science, the use of technology in learning, and a character-based approach, can produce individuals who not only have strong religious knowledge, but also critical skills, leadership, and the ability to contribute to positive social change. This research concludes that transformative Islamic education has the potential to create a more just, peaceful and civilized society, and is the key to producing future leaders who are able to face global challenges.
