PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO EDUKASI BERBANTUAN CAPCUT PADA MATERI PENYELENGGARAAN JENAZAH DI MAJELIS TAKLIM

Abstract

The study aims to develop, test the validity, and practicality of educational videos based on the CapCut application on the material on organizing funerals. The background of this study is the low level of public understanding, especially in Lera Village, regarding the procedures for organizing funerals. The study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a development model. The subjects of the study were members of the Majelis Taklim Mu'tadin, with data obtained through interviews, expert validation sheets, and community response questionnaires. The results of the needs analysis showed that 71.67% of the community did not understand the process of organizing funerals. Validation of educational videos by material experts obtained a score of 90% (very valid), while validation by media experts reached a score of 96.43% (very valid). The practicality test showed a level of practicality of 91.67% (very practical). The results of the study showed that educational videos based on CapCut are very valid, practical, and effective in increasing public understanding. This video is recommended for use as a learning medium at the Majelis Taklim Mu'tadin, Lera Village.
