EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA FILM DOKUMENTER SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM

Abstract

The focus of this research is the use of documentary films as a learning resource in the history learning process at MAN 2 Jambi City, including, (1) the effectiveness of their use, (2) the condition of supporting facilities and infrastructure, (3) teacher responses and appreciation, (4) obstacles and efforts in overcoming problems that arise from the use of documentary films in history learning. The aim of this research is to determine (1) the effectiveness of its use, (2) the condition of supporting facilities and infrastructure, (3) teacher responses and appreciation, (4) obstacles and efforts in overcoming problems. Documentary films themselves can be used as a learning resource for history subjects which can have a positive impact on the learning process which can foster students' learning motivation. Apart from increasing students' learning motivation, the use of documentary films is also expected to make it easier for students to understand the material presented by the teacher. The use of documentary films in history learning activities also requires teachers to look for documentary films that are interesting and appropriate to the material so that learning objectives can be achieved.
