PERANAN PENGASUH PANTI ASUHAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERILAKU IBADAH PRAKTIS

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of orphanage caregivers in increasing the implementation of practical worship behavior in foster children. The method used was descriptive with a qualitative approach at the Dharma Ibu Muara Bulian orphanage. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The findings of this research show that caregivers also act as role models, mentors and facilitators who help children understand and practice religious teachings in everyday life. Challenges faced in this process include differences in children's religious understanding backgrounds, as well as limited time and available resources. The strategy used by orphanage administrators to overcome these challenges is structured religious education, creating a comfortable worship environment, interactive learning, providing rewards and appreciation, collaborative activities with an individual approach to evaluation and adaptation. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide deeper insight into the importance of the role of caregivers in forming the character and spirituality of foster children at the Dharma Ibu Muara Bulian orphanage.
