Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the muraja'ah and tasmi' methods in improving the memorization of the Quran by students at the Manzil Al-Fath Islamic Boarding School. The research was motivated by the importance of effective memorization learning methods in maintaining the quality of memorization, particularly in terms of fluency, accuracy of tajwid, fashahah, and memorization resilience. Problems encountered included forgetfulness of memorization, a lack of consistency in muraja'ah, and differences in memorization abilities among students. The study used a qualitative approach with field research. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the boarding school leadership, musyrif (religious leaders), and students in the tahfidz program. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using source triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results indicate that the muraja'ah and tasmi' methods were systematically implemented through daily tahfidz halaqah (religious study groups). Muraja'ah is conducted through robth, muraja'ah memorization of old memorization, and muraja'ah fardiyyah to maintain the stability of memorization, while tasmi' is used as a means of evaluating the fluency of memorization, tajwid, and makhraj. The application of both methods has been proven to improve the quality of students' memorization, both in terms of fluency, reading accuracy, and memorization resilience, as well as fostering discipline and consistency in maintaining memorization of the Qur'an..
