PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA AKTIF PRODI PAI DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SKRIPSI DI UIN SULTHAN THAHA SAIFUDDIN JAMBI

Abstract

This study raises a thesis entitled Academic Procrastination of Active Students of PAI Study Program in Completing Thesis at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi with the background of the tendency to delay the completion of thesis with various obstacles faced by students. This results in delays in writing thesis and the implementation of the trial towards graduation, in the results of field interviews with subjects A.N, S.L, S.F, J.K, and R.M, they did delay writing thesis based on various factors such as economy, laziness, difficulties in guidance or administration. The research method used is qualitative which aims to study and investigate an event or phenomenon concerning individuals. The subjects of this study amounted to 5 subjects. The data collection method used non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews then data analysis by studying, reading and reviewing keywords obtained after obtaining data from the interview and observation results. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors underlying them in carrying out Academic Procrastination. The overall findings in the field on subjects A.N, S.L, S.F, J.K, and R.M can be concluded that each problem experienced when writing a thesis is the need for determination so that in carrying out the final assignment it does not stop suddenly, and does not neglect lectures when you are busy with other work.
