PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR AKIDAH AKHLAK

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in the Akidah Akhlak subject through the implementation of the Picture and Picture learning Model. The research subjects were 25 fourth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Yaqin. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. The research results showed an improvement in learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the first cycle, 18 students (72%) achieved mastery learning with an average score of 74, while 7 students (28%) did not meet the mastery criteria. After improvements were implemented in the second cycle, the number of students who achieved mastery increased to 22 (88%), with an average score of 79, and the number of students who did not meet the mastery criteria decreased to 3 (12%). This improvement demonstrates that the Picture and Picture Model is effective in helping students understand the material on commendable behaviors, such as honesty, trustworthiness, and keeping promises, by utilizing engaging visual media and structured group discussions. Furthermore, this Model also enhances students’ engagement in the learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Picture and Picture learning Model successfully improves the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the Akidah Akhlak subject at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Yaqin.
